Lagos IDU to celebrate Isoko cultural day October 28

The Isoko Development Union (IDU) Lagos branch under the leadership of Dr. Dan Ekere has set aside October 28, 2023 to celebrate Isoko cultural day at National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, where Isoko cultural heritage would be displayed to the outside world.

The organizing secretary of the event, Barr. Sam Akora, disclosed this while interacting with some selected journalists recently in his office located at Apapa, Lagos.

Barr. Sam Akora stated that, all machineries has been put in place to ensuring a smooth and successful event, stressing that prominent sons and daughters of Isoko resident in Lagos, including friends and well-wishers has been invited to grace the occasion, noting that the Isoko traditional rulers are not left out as they will attend in large numbers.

Barr. Akora used the medium to inform his audience that the event will be under the chairmanship of Chief Iduh Amaidhe, while the governors of Lagos and Delta states, Gov. Sanwo-Olu and Rt. Hon. Oborevwori will be special guests of honour respectively.

He urged all clan chairmen to get accros to all their members about the celebration to attend in enmasse.
