My daughter was preparing for her masters in UK before train crash – Father of corps member
Femi Aina, the father of National Youth Service Corps member Oreoluwa, who died in the Lagos train accident, said his daughter was preparing for her Master’s degree in the United Kingdom when she died.
Oreoluwa’s father revealed that his daughter was struggling with life and wanted to say something before she died.
He described Oreoluwa as a God-fearing and hardworking young lady.
While speaking about her granddaughter’s death, her grandmother revealed that Oreoluwa had been with her since she was four years old.
The elderly woman described the accident day as a “day of grief” because Oreoluwa was the only one accompanying her and running errands for her.
She also confirmed Oreoluwa’s father’s claim that the young lady intended to travel to the United Kingdom for her Master’s programme, adding that she was already in the catering business and had been saving money to start a mobile food business.
