The remains of late Deaconess Esther Unusota Ighojosewe Idama, whose glorious exit occurred on 20 march 2021, has been committed to mother earth at her home town, Owhelogbo in Isoko north local government area of Delta State on 5th June 2021.
The son, Engr. Felix Idama, while reading the biography of his mother to the hearing of the guests present, he remarked that, late Deaconess Esther Unusota Ighojosewe Idama was born in the year 1938 into the family of Ighojosewe and Akpojotor in Ekrite and Iyedhe streets respectively in Owhelogbo town of Isoko North local government area of Delta State.
Engr. Felix Idama, described his mother as an industrious woman whose entrepreneurship charisma gingered her to venture into many diversed trading in her early years, noting that, in those years, his mother had lived in Adamawa State, Calabar, Cameroon and Central Africa Republic before finally relocating to Ozoro kingdom, where she stayed and conduct her pretty trading business and she was popularly known and called as “mama Cameroon”.
Engr. Felix Idama who happens to be the only son child of late Mama, Deaconess Esther Unusota Ighojosewe Idama,had noted that his mother is survived by grand children and great-grand children, describing her as an epitome of humility, generous, gentle, caring, easy going and accommodating.
The late Deaconess Esther Unusota Ighojosewe Idama, until her departure, she was devoted Christian and worshipped at the Christ Abiders Mission, Ozoro, where she was ordained as Deaconess.
In a tribute to her late mother inlaw, the daughter in-law, Mrs Ojis Idama, had noted that “My beloved mother inlaw, it grieved my heart that you you departed so soon. Words are not enough to describe how much I missed you. I can’t forget how your reaction looks, whenever we are watching Zee world together, especially Twist of fate, you always took your time to explain and narrate in details, whenever I miss any episode. I thank God for blessing me with the most outstanding mother inlaw. We were together all through, I saw it in your eyes that you really want to live, but, you fought a good fight and I know that the Lord gave you victory, because, right now, I know you are resting in the blossom of the Lord, where there is no more pains and sorrow. Rest on Mama, I will always love you”
In their tributes, Elo Idama, Great Idama, Joseph Idama, Philemon Idama, Blessing,Prosper Edhomawa, Stephanie, Sterling Oghoghomena Ajakpofo, Hon. and Mrs Joe Orogun and Mrs Faustina Ajakpofo, have described the late Mama Deaconess Esther Unusota Ighojosewe Idama as a loving and caring woman who identify with the people always.
Some of the guests that graced the occasion include: High Chief M.O. Otobo, Prince S.Ewajedu, Engr. James Ighota, Engr. Fred Ediafiogho, Comr. Akporowhe Thomas (AKA) Arame 1, Dr. Oteri, including Uho club, Excellent club, Ogbe Elite club and others.
The officiating ministers, who anchored the church service at her compound at Owhelogbo are: Apostle James O. Enase (SAMS) Pastor Luchy Uchefe, Evang. Lucky Othuke, Pastor Okpigbe, Elder. Abighe and Elder Abada.
