It is heartbreaking that almost everyday we wake up to breaking news that depicts partners (married and unmarried) taking each other’s life.
The most recent case is that of an Indigene of Akoko who took the life of his wife after which he committed suicide without considering the effect on his children (3yrs, 2 weeks) who were left behind. According to reports, the police man committed the crime as a result of suspected infidelity on the path of his wife, he started getting worried when she started receiving strange calls from other men before he took the decision he made.
The fact is that partners killing each others will become a norm and perfect way of seeking justice after being jilted by a partner or when a partner is caught cheating. Recently, Tyler Perry released a movie titled ‘A fall from grace’ where a jilted wife almost took the life of her husband.
Before it gets to the point where you will have to kill your partner, please leave the marriage.
Here are tips to help you choose your partner rightly:
- Courtship for a reasonable period of time.
- Take time to study your partner before you say ‘I do’, know their strengths and weakness.
- Pray for your partner.
- Be patient.
- Stay away from a cheating partner, cheating is frustrating, demoralizes and can lead to acts that you will regret.
