The pastor of crown of God Ministry in Abavo Delta State is currently in a deep mess. The young vibrant pastor was approached by a woman whose child is currently stranded in Libya. According to the woman, they have not heard from her son Emeke since 3 years ago. The woman was directed to the pastor’s church for prayers. After narrating the story to the pastor, the pastor prayed for her and told her to sow a seed of 20,000. According to the pastor, the money will be used by angels to bring Emeke home as transportation fare.
The poor widow and a peasant farmer was said to have gone to her meeting to borrow the money which she joyfully paid to the pastor expecting her son’s return. The woman was also told to come and do Thanksgiving as an act of faith that her son have already returned to Nigeria. The woman deligently carried out the instructions and continued to wait for her son’s return, all to no avail
The pastor was said to have promised the woman that her son will return exactly one month after the seed was sown. However, the woman waited till six months without any result which prompted her to confront the pastor. The pastor was said to have provoked the woman by telling her God rejected the seed because she did not bring the money on time, but the pastor refused to return the money to the woman telling her that any gift given to God cannot be taken back.
The woman was further provoked when the pastor asked her if she can have the boldness to ask a governor of a state to return the gift given to him if the favour for giving him the gift was not granted. He told her that since God is greater than the governor, she has no right to request the money back. The woman who was weeping held the pastor’s clothes saying he must return the money to her so that she can as well return it to the meeting where she borrowed the money.
The crowd that gathered there pleaded with the woman to free the pastor and go to his house later rather than embarrassing him in the public. They admitted that the pastor was very wrong saying the woman was a poor widow. Those who pleaded for the pastor advised him to return the money to the woman because she has no help. The pastor who was speechless by the embarrassment did not agree to return the money. As at the time of filing this report, people were asking the woman to summon the pastor in the king’s palace rather than taking laws into her own hands
