Akpomalue insists investors must be encouraged in Isoko land

The chairman of Community development board, CDB, under Oil Mining License, OML 26, Prince Johnson E. Akpomalue, said that they will continue to encourage investors in their land.
He made this statement in his address during 2nd edition commissioning capital projects across 35 communities within the four clusters on Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th of October.
The project were executed by OML 26, CDB in conjunction with members of the Community Representatives Committees, CRCs and sponsored by the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC/First Hydro Carbon Nigeria Limited, FHN, 26 AMT, through the GMOU fund paid for the development of host communities situated in Delta State.

CDB Chairman commissioned 90 capital projects which are; supply of science laboratory equipments, rehabilitation of schools Administrative blocks, building and furnishing of Town Halls, Road maintenace, fencing of public centres and Central Palace of traditional rulers, rehabilitation of community health centres, building of shopping mail for communities, construction of open markets, supply of student chairs and tables, execution of water projects, Electrification projects, community vigilante vehicles, community buses including pavilion are commissioned.
He also urged the communities to guide against bunkery and pipleline vandalization, while noting that the federal government is aware of it and are looking forward to who will be caught.
The consultant sustainable development OML 26, AMT, Mr. Bassey Mfon, commended the chairman for championing a good course for the people, adding that as we continue in infrastructural development, we also want to initiate skills acquisition and empowerment programmes for youths.
Mr. Mfon also assured the communities that the provision for electricity will be a reality because am interested in making the community great.

Ebelle, Okorefe 1 (JP), appreciate the CDB Chairman for the good work he is doing and promised to reach those communities involved in pipleline vandalism, while adding that NPDC should endeavor to care for those assisting them in community because they need to help us, so as to help them too.

President General of Ada-Iri Community, Deacon Matthew Okpomini, thanked the CDB Chairman and NPDC/FHN for embarking on this project and we wish them more.
While advising the community to maintain and take care of the things given them because many are looking forward to this.
He also mentioned that water is life and now that they more water it means more life.
He pointed out that, “we will like the school to be fenced”.
